January 2021 Update

Happy New Year!

We hope that everyone had a joyous Christmas season and is recharged for an exciting 2021.

Mission Academy has some exciting times ahead. We have secured a partnership with a farmer who will be caring for the land this upcoming season. The soil will be cared for through the strategic use of cover crops. With the goal of having Mission Academy be on a fully regenerative farm, this is a critical first step and an answered prayer.

We will also be hard at work planting the first of many garden plots. Have you ever heard of MILPA?

Finally, in addition to the thousands of maple saplings we currently have, we will be getting as many trees in the ground as we can afford.

Mission Academy is still just starting this journey so we appreciate your prayers. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping, please let us know. It takes a village and we could use the support.

We will be sending email updates on a monthly basis but make sure to check back at www.missionacademy.us/blog.

God Bless!
